Chaffee County Habitat for HumanityChaffee County Habitat for Humanity (CCHFH) is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity
International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people
in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses are then sold to those in need at no profit and with
no interest charged. Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials
to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their
homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.

Orient Land Trust is a nonprofit Colorado land trust dedicated to the preservation
of natural resources, wildlife habitat, open space, and historic and geologic features of the northern San Luis Valley for
the enjoyment of current and future generations. 100% of unrestricted donations go towards open space and land conservation.

Salida Steamplant
The Steam Plant is a unique performing arts center which provides a venue for local,
regional, and even national and international events to take place in Salida, Colorado. Theatre, children's programs, rock
and roll, classical music, exhibits, meetings, lectures and more.
Salida Tree Board
A volunteer board representing the City of Salida, which oversees the portion of the
urban forest planted on city property, including trees in parks and “street trees,” those trees planted in the
space between sidewalks and city streets.

Trout Unlimited
Collegiate Peaks Anglers is a local chapter of the nation's leading coldwater conservation
organization, Trout Unlimited. We are an active group of men and women dedicated to conservation, fishing, friendship and
fun, with informative monthly meetings, numerous environmental projects, fishing trips and social events. Our membership is
approximately 250 persons, most of whom live in the Upper Arkansas River Valley between Cotopaxi and Leadville.
